Lincoln City, Oregon.  The gateway to the 20 miracle miles of the Oregon Coast. Lincoln City is located on the scenic Oregon Coast at the 45th parallel, situated 11 feet above sea level. It is bordered by 680-acre Devils Lake and the Coast Range on the east and the Pacific Ocean on the west. Lincoln City boasts 7 1/2 miles of beautiful, clean sandy beaches, the Salmon River to the north and the Siletz Bay and River to the south.  Lincoln City enjoys a mild maritime climate. The average winter temperature is 50 degrees dropping to the mid 30's at night. Average summer temperatures range from a windy 60-70 degrees on the beach to 80-90 degrees inland.

Siletz Bay National Wildlife Refuge consists of some of the most scenic estuarine habitat along the Pacific Coast Scenic Byway. On either side of Highway 101, starched skeleton trees jut forth from the estuary and are reminiscent of a time when the salt marsh was diked to provide pasture for dairy cows. Red-tailed hawks, bald eagles, and other raptors can often be seen roosting at the top of these snags and a variety of estuarine dependant birds including great blue heron, great egret and many species of waterfowl can be seen foraging
in the tidally influenced waters.

Carved and shaped by powerful natural forces, Depoe Bay is the site of the world’s smallest navigable harbor. Waves run beneath lava beds creating spouting geysers up to 60 feet into the air. Sea caves line our scenic rocky shoreline.

Depoe Bay is teaming with marine life and rich in natural resources. The stunning beauty of Depoe Bay’s rugged rocky coastline, snug harbor and easy access via Highway 101 make it one of the most popular destinations along the Central Oregon Coastline.
